FCTE.org,
the official web site of
The Florida
Council of Teachers of
English.
FCTE is a non-profit organization promoting knowledge, communication, and
cooperation among those responsible for teaching English and Language Arts
in Florida. All Florida Educators
wishing to engage in our mission are encouraged to join FCTE.
It is our hope that FCTE.org will serve as a resource for English teachers
throughout the state who are looking for more information about "their"
professional organization, searching for good teaching ideas, looking for
professional development information, or just hoping to find friends and
colleagues who share similar interests. Please feel free to

Middle School Teacher Wins Distinguished Educator Award Jane Feber, FCTE President and language arts teacher at Mandarin Middle School in Jacksonville, received the National Middle School Association's (NMSA) Distinguished Educator Award. This award recognizes outstanding practitioners in middle level education, and identifies those who have made a significant impact on the lives of young adolescents through leadership, vision, and advocacy. Jane received the award at the annual NMSA conference in Denver, Colorado. Congratulation, Jane!!!! |
