IDEA Exchange Format 

To participate in the IDEA Exchange at the PDI, you must bring 100 copies of your best English language arts lesson plan idea.  Drop your copies off at the registration desk when you arrive and receive a ticket to go back Saturday to get a packet compiled of everyone’s ideas.  Your lesson plan must:

·        **Be typed on 8 ½" X 11" paper
   **Include your name and school
   **Include the appropriate grade level and content with which to use the lesson
   **Have standard lesson plan components including:

o       Objective

o       Materials

o       Procedures

o       Assessment

o       Rubric

o       Sunshine State Standards

o       Differentiated instruction options

o       ESE/ESOL accommodations

If possible, include a student sample or any tips you have to make the lesson successful with different students.  The lesson need not be your own personal invention, but please refrain from bringing copyrighted material or pages copied directly from workbooks or textbooks.  Please site your sources where possible.
